Who we are

Everyknock is a small service run by Isa. It gives small businesses a website and one inbox for the inquiries their customers send them. Questions about this page, or about any data we hold: isaataullah3@gmail.com.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies — not even fonts.

If you apply through the form, we receive what you type: your name, email, business name, a link if you give one, and your answers. We use it only to read your application and reply to you. It goes straight from your browser to the Everyknock service (run by Google Cloud, below) and is kept in the Everyknock inbox; Cloudflare, which hosts this site, does not store it.

Like any website host, Cloudflare keeps short-lived technical logs of requests (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the site.

Messages to a business that uses Everyknock

If you contact a business that uses Everyknock — through a form on its website, or on Facebook Messenger — your message reaches that business through us. The business decides why it collects your message and what it does with it; we store and deliver it for them, and do nothing else with it.

• What we receive: what you send. From a website form, that is the fields you fill in, such as your name, email address and message. From Messenger, it is your message and the ID Facebook gives you for that business's Page.
• Who can read it: the business owner, after signing in with their own Google account. Each business sees only its own messages.
• Replies are sent by the business from its own email or Messenger. Everyknock does not message you itself.
• Notifications: the business gets an email saying that someone wrote, with your name and how you got in touch — not your message.
• No AI reads your message today. If a business later chooses to have reply drafts written by an AI service, this page will say so, and name the service, before that is switched on.

Who else handles data

These companies run parts of Everyknock for us, only to provide it:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website. (Netlify hosted it until September 2026 and still serves the old everyknock.netlify.app address until it is retired.)
• Google Cloud — runs the Everyknock service and inbox in the United States, handles sign-in to the inbox, and keeps our backups.
• Neon — the database where messages are stored, on Amazon Web Services in the United States.
• Meta — delivers Facebook Messenger messages to us, for businesses that connect their Page.
• Google (Gmail) — sends the new-inquiry emails to businesses.

We do not sell or rent anyone's data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long it is kept, and how it is protected

• Messages are kept for as long as the business they were sent to uses Everyknock, unless you or the business ask us to delete them sooner.
• Nightly backups are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically, so anything deleted is gone from the backups within 30 days too.
• Technical logs are kept by Google Cloud for up to 30 days.
• Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS). The inbox opens only for the business owner's own Google account, and the backups are private.

Deleting your data

Email isaataullah3@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data”, and tell us how you contacted which business. For a website form, that is the email address you used. For Facebook Messenger, name the Page you messaged, roughly when, and something you said: Facebook does not share your name with us, so that is how we find your conversation.

We confirm we have received your request, delete your messages and details within 30 days, and tell you when it is done. This covers messages sent through Facebook Messenger as well as website forms.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw an application at any time. Email us and we will answer within 30 days. If we change how your data is handled, we update this page first and change the date at the top.

Everyknock is not meant for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
